Do you know you can hide any specific Partition from My Computer (without deleting all your data)? Well Yes, you can in few simple steps. I'm showing steps that how I hide D: Drive from my Computer. But few precautions, that you can't hide C: Drive, and my suggestion is don't forget to show it back after you think its time to show (steps to show it back also included). One thing, if the partition is being accessed by any process then you can't hide it, and if you are facing problem in hiding it and sure that no program is accessing it, its because of virus undoubtedly.
How to Hide Partition from Computer?
Step 1. Go to Manage under Right Click menu of Computer.
Step 2. Go to Disk Management under Storage category.
Step 3. Now on Right Side of Window, Right Click on the Drive you want to Hide select Change Drive Letter and Paths...
Step 4. Now select Remove, and then press OK.
Step 5. Its done for here, notice following boxed changes.
Step 6. Go to Computer, and see that Partition has been removed :)
Showing Hidden Partition Again
Step 1. Go to Manage>Storage>Disk Management again
Step 2. Right click on the Partition which is showing blank under Volume column, and again right click on it and select Change Drive Letter and Paths...
Step 3. Select Add and then press OK
Step 4. Go back to Computer and you can see that Partition is again showing here.
